Ever wondered how "Twitter" got its name? Apparantly the name Twitter was picked out of a hat. A small group of employees from Odeo, the San Francisco podcasting startup where Twitter initially began, had a brainstorming session. They were trying to come up with names that fit the theme of a mobile phone pushing an update in your pocket. After narrowing down the options (which included Jitter and Twitter), they wrote them down, put them in a hat, and let fate decide. And as we know now: Fate decided on Twitter.

Levering van de door ons beoogde Nokia N900 mobile internet smartphone als primary remote login-phone voor onze dedicated services (draaiend op Linux open source OS Maemo) is met +/- een maand vertraagd. Lees hieronder:

Nokia heeft de release van de N900, een smartphone op basis van Linux-variant Maemo, uitgesteld. De release stond op de agenda voor oktober, maar de smartphone komt volgens de fabrikant pas in november op de markt.
